Bilingual Education Model
Students at IQRA BA live and learn in a bilingual and multicultural environment. They are provided with a rich and varied dual-language academic and extra-curricular programme. Our aim is to give each student the opportunity to develop to his/her full potential in the two working languages of the school - English and French. The bilingual academic curriculum at IQRA BA begins in the Pre-School. Instruction is both English and French (50/50) starting in Petite Section (Pre-School 2/3) and through Kindergarten. Starting in Grade 1 (CP) and continuing through High School, IQRA BA's bilingual approach switches to a 80/20 model. All students continue to follow the Senegalese national program in French Language with the same number of hours offered per week . All other subjects, however, are taught in English.
